Overview
The European Dependable Computing Conference (EDCC) is a leading venue for presenting and discussing the latest research, industrial practice, and innovations in dependable and secure computing. Established in 1994, EDCC has built a long-standing tradition and is now reaching its 22nd edition. The conference programme will feature workshops on the opening day, followed by engaging keynotes, technical sessions, fast abstracts, posters, and a student forum.
EDCC has also established itself as a welcoming and supportive venue for early career researchers, and a vibrant event to connect with the international dependability community. It is a pleasure to host the 2027 edition in Trondheim, a technology hub in the middle of Norway.

The City of Trondheim
Trondheim is the third most populous municipality in Norway and one of the technology hubs of the country. It lies close to the geographical center of Norway (which is however quite north by most people’s standards). The first settlement was founded in 997 and it was the capital of Norway during the Viking Age until 1217.
The city is home to the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), the largest university in Norway, and a recognized excellence in Engineering disciplines. Trondheim is also home to the Nidaros Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture and the northernmost medieval cathedral in the world, to which EDCC 2027 logo is inspired.
We are looking forward to welcoming you in Trondheim for EDCC 2027, and we hope you will enjoy the city as much as we do!
